Discover authentic Sardinia: Castiadas.

Welcome to Sardinia, an island rich in unspoiled nature, fascinating history and dreamy beaches. To the east and southeast a very special place awaits you: Castiadas, an idyllic paradise in the province of Cagliari.

CASTIADAS

Nature, culture and pleasure

Castiadas captivates with its natural beauty and authentic Sardinian atmosphere. Just a few kilometers from the pristine beaches of the southern coast, the region offers a wide range of activities for nature and culture lovers. The rolling hills, dense forests, and turquoise waters of the Sette Fratelli Park (7,000 hectares) invite long hikes and mountain bike tours, during which you can discover the local flora and fauna, from wild boar to deer to numerous bird species.

And water sports enthusiasts will also find what they are looking for: diving, snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wingfoiling, and sailing are available on the coasts around the park. Particularly recommended is Cala Sinzias beach, which despite its impressive beauty has remained largely untouched. Be enchanted by the relaxed atmosphere and Caribbean charm and enjoy culinary delights in the lovely bars and restaurants.

CASTIADAS

Culture and gastronomy

In addition to nature, the area around Castiadas also has much to offer culturally. Visit the Museum of Popular Traditions and the former prison, which now serves as a memorial. Here you will learn all about Sardinian history and culture. As you explore the area, you can also visit an ancient cemetery or take a trip to prehistoric nuraghi. This will immerse you even more in the region’s history. And Sardinian cuisine is also an experience in itself. Try fregola, traditional suckling pig “porceddu,” and fresh fish and seafood dishes straight from the nearby sea.

Whether you want to immerse yourself in fascinating nature, discover cultural treasures, or relax on dreamy beaches, Castiadas and its surroundings offer the ideal experience for everyone. Be enchanted by the harmonious mix of nature, culture and pleasure and experience Sardinia at its most authentic!
